Ashdod femminile

Maccabi Bnot Ashdod (Hebrew: מכבי בנות אשדוד) is a professional women's basketball team based in Ashdod, playing in the Ligat Ha'al in Israel since 2003. It is the women's basketball division of the Maccabi Ashdod sports club.

During 2009/10, the team reached the finals of the championship. But lost to A.S. Ramat-Hasharon 1–3. A year later (2010/11), the team reached the finals again, and lost to the team of Elitzur Ramla 0–3.

In 2011/12 season, the team participated in the EuroCup for the first time. Later Maccabi Bnot Ashdod won national Cup taking over A.S. Ramat-Hasharon in the final. At the end of the season Maccabi Bnot Ashdod for the first time won the Championship, completing the Double In the final series they won Elitzur Ramla 3–2.

L'Ashdod Bnot Ashdod (in ebraico: בנות אשדוד‎) è una società cestistica avente sede ad Ashdod, in Israele. Fondata nel 2010, gioca nel massimo campionato israeliano.

Dopo anni di soggiorno stabile in seconda divisione, il club ha ottenuto la promozione nella massima serie nel 2018-19. Nonostante il raggiungimento di un ottavo posto in classifica nella stagione 2019-20, l'Ashdod Bnot Ashdod ha dovuto attendere la stagione 2020-21 per classificarsi tra le prime quattro squadre del campionato e avere così accesso ai playoff. La squadra è anche riuscita a raggiungere la finale di Coppa di Lega.

L'Ashdod Bnot Ashdod ha partecipato per la prima volta a una competizione europea nella stagione 2021-22, l'EuroCup Women. La squadra ha chiuso l'annata con un quinto posto in campionato, ma ha giocato di nuovo la finale della Coppa di Lega.
