Merreikh El-Fasher

Al-Merreikh Sports Club (Arabic: نادي المريخ الرياضي) also known as Merreikh Al-Fasher is a football club from Al-Fasher, Sudan. They play in the top level of Sudanese professional football, the Sudan Premier League. Their home stadium is Al-Fasher Stadium. It has a capacity of 10,000. Their colours are red and yellow.

Il Merreikh El-Fasher è una società calcistica sudanese con sede a El Fasher. Milita nella Sudan Premier League, la massima serie del campionato sudanese di calcio.

Il club è stato fondato nel 1937 e ha vinto il suo primo campionato sudanese nel 1971. Da allora ha vinto altri cinque campionati, l'ultimo dei quali nel 2019.

Il Merreikh El-Fasher ha anche vinto due Coppe del Sudan, nel 1972 e nel 1986.

Il club ha partecipato a diverse competizioni africane, tra cui la CAF Champions League e la CAF Confederation Cup. Il suo miglior risultato è stato il raggiungimento della fase a gironi della CAF Champions League nel 2019.
