Hinckley Leicester Road Football Club is a football club based in Hinckley, England. Formed on 4 November 2013 after the liquidation of Hinckley United the previous month, they are currently members of the Northern Premier League Division One Midlands and play at the Leicester Road Stadium.
History
When Hinckley United folded in October 2013, two clubs were formed to replace them; Hinckley AFC and Leicester Road. Leicester Road were accepted into Division Two of the newly formed Midland League for the 2014–15 season. They were runners-up in their first season, earning promotion to Division One, where they would play Hinckley AFC for the first time.
In 2016–17 Leicester Road club won the Leicestershire and Rutland Senior Cup, beating Holwell Sports 2–1 in the final. In 2021 the club were promoted and transferred to the Premier Division South of the United Counties League based on their results in the abandoned 2019–20 and 2020–21 seasons. In September 2021 the club were renamed Hinckley LRFC. The 2021–22 season saw them finish second in the Premier Division South, earning promotion to Division One Midlands of the Northern Premier League.

Il club è stato fondato nel 1884 da un gruppo di uomini che lavoravano in una fabbrica di calzature locale. Inizialmente giocavano in partite amichevoli e in tornei locali, ma nel 1891 entrarono a far parte della Leicester & Leicestershire League. Hanno vinto il campionato nella stagione 1894-95 e sono stati promossi nella Midland League.
Il Leicester Road rimase nella Midland League per oltre 20 anni, vincendo il campionato nella stagione 1908-09. Sono stati promossi nella Southern League nel 1921 e sono rimasti in quella lega fino al 1939, quando la Seconda Guerra Mondiale interruppe il calcio inglese.
Dopo la guerra, il Leicester Road entrò a far parte della Midland Football League. Hanno vinto il campionato nella stagione 1947-48 e sono stati promossi nella Southern Football League. Sono rimasti in quella lega fino al 1966, quando sono stati tra i fondatori della Northern Premier League.
Il Leicester Road ha vinto la Northern Premier League nella stagione 1977-78, e sono stati promossi nella Football League Fourth Division. Sono rimasti in quella lega per quattro stagioni, prima di essere retrocessi nella Northern Premier League.
Da allora, il Leicester Road è rimasto nella Northern Premier League, vincendo il campionato nella stagione 1993-94. Sono stati promossi nella Football Conference, ma non sono stati in grado di mantenere il loro posto in quella lega e sono stati retrocessi nella Northern Premier League dopo una sola stagione.
