Il Carmarthen Town Association Football Club (gal. Clwb Pêl-droed Tref Caerfyrddin) è una società calcistica gallese con sede nella città di Carmarthen e milita oggi nella Welsh Premier League.

History

Fondata nel 1948, vanta una vittoria nella locale coppa nazionale, la Welsh Cup, e tre nella Coppa di Lega della massima divisione. Ha inoltre vinto il titolo della Welsh Football League (secondo livello del campionato gallese) e la relativa coppa di lega, la Welsh Football League Cup.

Il Carmarthen Town Association Football Club, noto anche semplicemente come Carmarthen, è una squadra di calcio gallese con sede nella città di Carmarthen, nel Galles. Fondata nel 1929, la squadra attualmente gioca nella Cymru South, la seconda divisione del sistema calcistico gallese.

Il Carmarthen ha vinto numerosi titoli durante la sua storia, tra cui nove campionati nazionali, dieci Coppe del Galles e cinque Coppe di Lega gallesi. Ha anche rappresentato il Galles nelle competizioni europee, raggiungendo il primo turno della Coppa delle Coppe UEFA nel 1981-82.

Il Carmarthen gioca le sue partite casalinghe al Richmond Park, uno stadio con una capacità di 3.000 spettatori. La squadra è soprannominata "The Old Gold" (I Vecchi Oro) per i colori della sua divisa, che sono giallo e nero.
